Ruth Barton of the Department of Film Studies in Trinity is pleased to announce the publication of her new critical biography of Irish silent-era filmmaker, Rex Ingram.

The launch is on Tuesday 9th December at the Irish Film Institute with an 18.30 screening of Ingram’s 1926 World War One film, Mare Nostrum. This will be accompanied with a new score by Dublin-based silent film specialists, 3epkano. The event is supported by Trinity College’s Visual and Performing Arts Fund.
